Following the development of global routes to trade goals, India became the home for the company and trades. India was abutting other countries in the network of street-roots leading to the Silk Route. The Spice Route was a maritime connection between India, other countries and was also known as the Silk Route.

Trade and Business Opportunities in Ancient India.

Evidence from Indian Archaeology has revealed that entrepreneurship began in the very early days of ancient India. The Harrapan civilization was the most prominent trader and established a commercial link with Mesopotamia society. They exchanged their handmade-craft items. Toys, pots, utensils and corps were all they needed to live their daily lives. The Harrapans period was a time of significant commercial and business activity in India. They regulate trade, different types and coins as well as handcrafts and metals for import and export. People moved the material to different countries, and believed in their ability to entrepreneurship.

What’s the Barter System?

Bartering was first developed between 6000 and 7000 BC. Particularly in India, ancient people used the exchange method to buy and sell products. This system was in existence for hundreds of years, long before money was invented. This method allowed people to modify services and goods in exchange for other services, without the need to use coins or precious metals. Experts in India believe that the Barter system was first introduced to India in the Vedic era.

Industrialization of India

In 1673, India’s East India Company initiated industrialization. India was influenced by the Britishers who introduced the industrial culture. They arrived in India in 19th-century for business reasons, and industrial development took place in the 20th. The British established the majority of the private sector. Industries are located in both the east and west parts of India. The East India Company was a major contributor to industrial development as well as the quality of international trade export and import. The Swadeshi Campaign was one of many social and political movements that were spawned by the East India Company. According to prominent Indian academics, manufacturing entrepreneurship is directly related to the arrival of East India businesses in India.

Entrepreneurship Success in Digital India

Nowadays, India government taking so much initiatives through Digital India to enhance the eco system of technology and entrepreneurship. Government focusing in connecting the gap between technology and entrepreneurs. If we consider about world, all young entrepreneurs are coming from tech industries and making billion valuation companies. So it shows that there is big opportunity in the digital technology sector. This is the main reason why Govt. of India focusing on the Digital India campaign to promote cash less economy, advance technology, automation etc.

With this Digital India campaign, Govt of India also want to make policies for ease of doing business for the youth of India as government of India wants to make a hub of entrepreneurs, innovations, skills etc. This all initiative and campaign will definitely going to contribute for entrepreneurship success journey of Indian Youth and young entrepreneurs of India to make India a completely Digital Enabled country.
